I was raised in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, lived in Boise for a few years to attend graduate school, and moved to Omaha with my wife Rachel last year to work at Quest. We have two dogs, a corgi and a dorgi. I love reading, traveling, and anything nerdy.

Roles at Quest Forward Academy

I mentor Intermediate English, U.S. History, Advanced American Literature, and American Government. I also sponsor peer mentoring and co-sponsor student council.

Before Quest Forward Academy

I attended North Idaho College, the University of Idaho, and Idaho State University. I was a preschool teacher before I became a substitute teacher in Boise. When the pandemic hit, I got my TESOL certificate and taught ESL at the College of Western Idaho until I finished my student teaching. I saw that QFA was hiring, and the rest is history!
