What to Expect at a Visit Day
Interested in Quest Forward Academy Omaha? Then come visit us in person. There’s no better way to get to know our project-based learning, friendly staff, and state-of-the-art facilities than experiencing them yourself.
What to Expect During your Private Tour
As the Director of Recruitment, I meet individually with every family interested in Quest Forward Academy. We’ll talk about your family and your student, the things they are good at, their challenges, and what brought you to our door. Then we dive into what’s different at the school and how those differences look and feel on a daily basis, as well as the difference they can make in your child.

At Quest Forward Academy, our students learn the same content as a traditional high school, but in a refreshingly different way. Students demonstrate their learning through hands-on projects and not by memorizing for tests. Teachers work as mentors, individually coaching, guiding, and challenging students. Students grow in academics while developing skills and habits that are essential to success in college and career.

What We Look for in an Applicant
One of the most important things we look for in prospective students is their desire to grow and willingness to take responsibility for their learning. Our current students choose daily to be active participants in their education. They enjoy having more control over their learning and having a support system of students and mentors that keep them accountable for their work. This type of environment is for the student who cares and wants agency over their education.
What Is a Visit Day?
A Visit Day allows students to spend a portion of the school day with us as if they were an enrolled student. Your child will interact with our current students and mentors on their own to get a feel for what a typical day is like. After participating in several classes, they eat lunch with our student ambassadors. At the end of the day I meet again with the visiting student to discuss what they liked and didn’t like, and any other thoughts about their visit.

We encourage all prospective students to sign up for a Visit Day after starting their application. For many prospective students, the visit is the extra step they need to really understand how we are different and to determine if Quest Forward Academy is where they want to be.
If you need assistance with the application process or are interested in scheduling a Visit Day, please contact me by email or by calling 402-403-1267. I look forward to meeting you!
